  • Why I’m Blogging Again

It’s been a minute…..

No, wait. It’s been a lot of coffees and a lot of hours in front of a computer screen. No, wait. It’s been a lot of changes (AI, LLMs, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini). No, wait. It’s been dozens of projects at work. It’s been so many things…

To be honest, I didn’t plan for the break to last this long. Life just… happened. Projects picked up, responsibilities grew, and like many of us, I got caught in the rhythm of “heads-down, get-things-done.” Writing took a back seat. Not because I didn’t have anything to say — I actually had too much going on. But somewhere along the way, I stopped sharing it.

Lately, though, I’ve felt the pull to come back.

Not to “grow my brand” or hit some content quota — but because I miss the conversations. I miss taking a step back to reflect, to share what I’m working on, what I’m learning (or unlearning), and maybe spark something in someone reading on the other side of the screen. Cause, you know, programming is a lonely thing to do. And I find myself talking with ChatGPT or Gemini too often lately. I mean TOO OFTEN. And then I said, “Sam (my name in English, an English female teacher back when I was 10 years old told me that and never actually checked if it stands out. Using it since then.) go “out” (not literally) and talk to someone else for a change (I do talk with the wife and kids, don’t get me wrong).

If you’ve followed my work before, you know I don’t write fluff. I like to get to the point, share the real stuff — what worked, what didn’t, the tools I’m trying, the ideas I’m testing, and how I’m using AI (and tech in general) to make things easier, smarter, and more human.

So what can you expect from here on out?

  • Insights from the trenches: real lessons from projects I’m building or leading.
  • Thoughts on AI, risk, systems design, and building tools that actually help people.
  • Honest takes — not just polished success stories.
  • Maybe even a few posts on game design, product thinking, and whatever else catches my brain at 2 a.m.

This isn’t about going viral. It’s about staying curious, staying honest, and staying connected — to the process, to the craft, and to you, dear reader.

If anything here resonates, stick around. And if you’re just dropping by, welcome. Either way, it feels good to be sharing again.

I don’t promise a perfectly curated blog schedule or viral tips.

I just promise to show up, share what’s real, and keep learning out loud.
